Interactive Tours

Our head curator, Mark and his team will take you on an interactive tour of our vast collection of snakes, lizards, geckos and tortoises – sharing interesting facts, and allowing you to touch and hold the friendlier ones! Open Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, tours last 30 – 45 minutes. Please refer to our trading hours and entrance fees for current opening times and prices.

Demonstrations

Fascinating reptile shows are presented every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 11am and 2pm. Our team presents both venomous and non-venomous snakes and lizards, in a natural and intimate environment. Come and learn more about our scaly friends!

Country Restaurant

Complete your tour with a delicious meal at The Boma's safari style country restaurant. Tables are placed in The Boma’s forest courtyard, and a varying lunch and tea menu and full bar is available. Kids can explore our gardens and play area, and adults can soak up the beautiful surroundings while enjoying a mouth watering lunch. Available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays only. Bookings are preferred but not essential.

School Groups

Reptile World is ideal for school groups. Educational subjects include reptile education and forest ecology. Learners receive a guided tour of The Boma Reptile World and an interactive reptile presentation. Please contact us info@peboma.co.za, to Reptile World to book your class in for an unforgettable morning of fun, excitement and interactive education. A nominal fee per child is charged – please refer to our current trading hours and entrance fees.
